A Slip Sheath is a simple yet elegant way to show off a knife that you may not carry often. This particular sheath was made for a knife created by Russell Gale, Custom Woodworker in Asheville, NC. Russell contacted me a while back as he was looking for a custom knife sheath maker to create a sheath for a knife he made for a customer in New Jersey. After communicating with the customer this is what we came up with. It is a simple slip sheath made of 3-4 oz. vegetable tanned tooling leather dyed a dark brown.
