About my Work
First off, check out “Past Projects” and “Project Images” in the Menu Bar above. That will take you directly to a sample of leather projects I have created. The other items on the Menu Bar kinda flesh out other stuff. So… I am a pure, one at a time, Custom Leathersmith. The work you see on this website is but an example of the work that I do. Any of these items can be created again, as is, or with your requested modifications. All projects listed on this website were requested by an individual client. Basically I receive a request that says, “Heh, can you make something for this that does this and maybe that?” Or, “I have an item that was my grandfathers/grandmothers and would like to have it either restored or re-created”. Or, and this is fun, “I represent such and such museum and we need a really old historical item repaired/restored without ruining it’s historical value”. Prototyping work? Oh yes, most certainly. You have an idea that you want mass produced? I’ll be your leather imgaineer. You get the point. I do leatherwork. Not multiple items in different sizes where you can click a button, pay and receive (although I can but it’s not cheap). Mainly though I do one – at – a – time . Many of these items are my original idea and concept. I can’t even begin to tell you how many of these items and innovations have been copied by craftsman in overseas locations? (Yes, some still exist, trying to be nice here). So, in closing you have an idea, a thought, a what if? Let’s chat. Could be loads of fun.
