As a major part of my custom work revolves around my Personal Carry System (PCS), I have added an additional PCS page to give you a better indication of the varieties of Personal Carry Systems that can be created. In addition I have added a separate PCS gallery to allow the inclusion of even more...

PCS Twins

PCS Twins

Not sure what to call this except “Twins”. In this PCS Twins set, the client wished to have the same (or close) PCS for his high end William Henry Knives, flashlight, lighter, pen and Swiss Army knives. One PCS will be “Office Carry” and one for “Weekend carry”. He will shift out the pen with the lighter depending upon the circumstances. In addition he wished to have a flap covering the Swiss Arny knife as he will be interchanging two different Swiss Army knives depending upon his personal preference for the day (one is thinner than the other). I also carved a “Lannister Lion” on the flap covering the Swiss Army knives. As...

Shop PCS

Shop PCS

The Shop PCS is a project ordered by a welding shop owner in Georgia that got really tired of buying belt pouches for the items he used daily that kept wearing out. In addition, they were just ugly. The customer needed a belt carry PCS that carried his old Leatherman, a BIC pen that he just loved and a small MagLight. In addition he required a keyclip on the bottom for, well… you know… keys. He also required a matching cellphone case for his current iPhone and one he was looking to upgrade to. We chatted a bit and a further requirement was a leather that was stupid strong. This belt carry PCS is made of horse hide and is dyed a dark walnut brown. The...

Leather EDC Set

Leather EDC Set

Leather EDC Set, who doesn’t need EDC (Every Day Carry) pouches to carry the sundry of stuff that you need every day? I am going to do this post a bit differently than most. The set pictured was commissioned by a gentleman in Plymouth, England that operates a professional plumbing and heating company in the UK. Why no air conditioning you ask? You have to live there to understand (I did, for 3 years and it’s beautiful, but not hot). The client needed a set of pouches to carry his Wiha bit driver set, the wallet; his HDS 250 flashlight (called a torch in the UK), the taller sleeve; and his Bose bluetooth headset, the small belt pouch. Sounds like EDC to me!...

Tactical Flashlight Pocket Case

Tactical Flashlight Pocket Case

This Tactical Flashlight Pocket Case was made specifically for a “HDS Systems EDC Rotary Flashlight”. It is shown with my Surefire E2D Executive Defender as the HDS Light is way out of my budget level. The client wished for a case to either pocket carry or belt carry his HDS as in light of its size, although small, was a bit much bouncing around in his pocket. As the HDS light has a rotating bezel to adjust the light throw, I created two scalloped cutouts at the top of the case for easy light extraction and protection from an inadvertent “on” based on the customers request. The leather is 3-4 oz. vegetable tanned leather for better molding...

Double Pancake Cell Phone Case

Double Pancake Cell Phone Case

Double Pancake Cell Phone Case… a what? Another very unique item from Dragonthorn. I have made these in the past for folding knives and the latest knife sheath was made out of deerskin for a customers fathers day present for her Dad (you can view it here). The customer receiving this baby carries his personal phone, an iPhone 5 in a Lunatik Taktik Extreme case, and his business phone, a BlackBerry Bold daily. I’m not sure how many of you have this same situation (carrying two phones daily) but I do have personal experience with it and it’s a royal pain in the butt!. The client saw my deerskin case (linked above) on the web and thought, “hey, this...
