Here’s something really different and practical. This “Handgun Holster” was made for a friend of mine. She lives alone and likes to keep a bit of protection in the bedside table drawer. Late at night, groggy as we all probably are, a holster and snap is not something you want to mess with (nor a box, or having it loose to move around) when you hear something go “bump” in the night. This piece is made with an oil tanned 4-5oz. brown leather side (very soft and supply). This Tactical Flashlight Pocket Case was made specifically for a “HDS Systems EDC Rotary Flashlight”. It is shown with my Surefire E2D Executive Defender as the HDS Light is way out of my budget level. The client wished for a case to either pocket carry or belt carry his HDS as in light of its size, although small, was a bit much bouncing around in his pocket. As the HDS light has a rotating bezel to adjust the light throw, I created two scalloped cutouts at the top of the case for easy light extraction and protection from an inadvertent “on” based on the customers request. Multi-tools are one of the coolest things that have been invented to go on your belt. Small, relatively light weight and more gadgets than most tool boxes have. Of course, you require a multi tool belt pouch to carry it properly. This project was yet another interesting one. I received an email from a women in Zambia (yes, Zambia) who wanted something special for her husband on their wedding anniversary. Her husband works at a golf course in Solwezi, Zambia and uses his Leatherman multi-tool daily.
