Butterfly Knife Sheath’s

If you're going to carry a Butterfly Knife you really should carry it in something like this. 4-5oz. tooling leather, saturated with neatsfoot oil to keep it supple and protected. The clip is a spring steel holster clip covered in leather. I made this one for a gentlemen in South Florida that likes to jog. He needed it as slim as possible for concealment and designed not to fall out of his pocket or off of his jogging shorts. He also requested that I carve a logo of his choosing into the front side. Base price for this sheath is $135.00 w/o the leather covered clip. I'll cover it like this for an additional $25.00. As always as it's custom, any color, leather or additional tweaks are available. Just let me know and I'll figure it out.  DH

This is another variation on the theme. I have a client that wished to have the option of carrying either two Bali-Song's at once or just having one as a spare. The basic design is the same as the "ultimate" with leather covered clip but has a belt loop vs. the clip. The leather is 3-4oz. tooling leather dyed black with Feibings Professional oil dye. Edges are burnished to perfection. Can most certainly build one for you!  DH

And here's yet another variable on the design! A customer contacted me wanting the Dragonthorn Leatherworks Balisong Butterfly knife sheath with leather covered clip including a logo carved and colored. The gentleman was a member of the (now defunct) Jerzeedevil.com, a top notch forum that specialized in all things sharp and wanted the Jerzeedevil logo featuring prominently on the sheath itself. The sheath is made of 3-4 oz. vegetable tanned tooling leather and dyed black with Fiebings professional oil dye (good stuff if you know how to apply it properly, a bear if you don't). The pocket clip is covered with 1 oz. vegetable tanned leather to keep the clip as thin as possible for pocket carry. The Jerzeedevil logo is hand carved and "carefully" hand painted with a special paint giving it an almost enameled look (yet permanent, waterproof and flexible). Personally I believe that hand carved logos look much better than something stamped (unlike my makers mark which is stamped as I do it a lot!). Just another example of just what good custom leatherwork  can be.  DH

Just to give you another option for your "flipper". The above is based on my original sheath with a leather covered pocket clip. The difference being, other than this one is black, I have carved the "BRS" logo on the front and my Dragon logo on the back. After the carving process I used a leather paint to fill in the carved portions. What makes it really fun is that I then used a very high gloss and flexible coating to give the carved portions an enameled look. If you "really" want to stand out this is the way to do it. This process can be added to any leather project.  DH
